.@footballfacts (CHFF) says Chip Kelly must re-educate the dumbest team in NFL. Eagles did all little things wrong in 2012. Ranked 15th in both O & D but 29th and 30th in scoring O & D. ranked 31st and 32nd in Scoreability (yards per score) & Bendability (yards per point allowed), metrics that put empirical figure on team intelligence. .@MikeTanier (SOE) says “average” shouldn’t be a dirty word in regards to NFL quarterbacks. Means he’s 16th best in the world. Capable of winning Super Bowl and shedding “average” label as Joe Flacco just did. Andy Dalton is Tanier’s 16th rated QB. Teams need to support average QBs w weapons, and Bengals did so drafting Tyler Eifert, who will give Dalton more intermediate routes to complement AJ Green’s deep threat. Link

.@MikeTanier (SOE) says it’s ridiculous to be debating Rob Gronkowski injury at this point. Season still long way off. Even if he’s not ready for Game 1, Patriots won’t have trouble w weak division. Link

.@unSOPable23 (PFF) says Arian Foster, not Adrian Peterson, should be Fantasy Football first pick. Borrows quality start concept from baseball to see how many times players put selves in top 10 of their position. Foster better on more consistent basis than Paterson last 3 seasons. Foster was #1 in NFL in quality start metric in 2013. Link

.@MikeGarafolo (USA Today) profiles new Jets GM John Idzik. Slow & steady, a worker bee, tireless. Very sure of self because he feels he’s absolutely spent time to reach right decision. His methodical nature could be seen waiting out the Darrelle Revis trade and cutting Tim Tebow only after every stone turned. Link
